Last December 13, 21-23, and 27, a training program was conducted by Dr. Raymund Narag for the BJMP officers and personnel who shall be assigned to the newly constructed Malaybalay District Jail Annex-Kanlungan sa Piitan at Malaybalay Bukidnon, Region X. This is the first ever BJMP facility that will house PDL who are court mandated to undergo drug dependency intervention/KKDK (Katatagan Kontra Droga sa Komunidad) prior to their release.
This is another innovation from the BJMP that contributes to the holistic intervention for PDL and which will help in reducing re-offending. We wish nothing but success for everyone involved and we hope this will be replicated in all regions.
