Last July 15, 2023 we held our second annual Kumustahan at Ugnayan sa Pagbabagong Buhay to mark the third anniversary of the Community Bail Bond Program. We gathered together CBB Participants that we were able to obtain release through bail. This provided an opportunity for everyone under our program to meet in person, socialize and share experiences of their detention, release, reunion with their loved ones and reintegration into their communities. Dr. Raymund E. Narag, our chief consultant and primary architect of the CBB Program was on hand to finally see each participant in person and to share his life story as a former PDL himself. Sis. Tammy Saberon of the Missionary Sisters of St. Columban gave a short inspirational talk to everyone present. We were also joined by our friends from El Proveedores and CIVY. Truly, it was a gathering of hopefuls trying to become better versions of themselves.
