PRESO, Inc. Mourns the Untimely Demise of Its Chairperson and President

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our Chairperson and President, Aurora N. Reciña last October 23, 2021. A seasoned lawyer, she spent long years as Public Prosecutor and later, Trial Judge at the Queson City RTC. She was also appointed Chairperson of the Commission on Human Rights during the Estrada administration. As advocate of speedy trial for women prisoners, she also served as President of the Women Lawyers Association of the Philippines. She was also the President Emeritus of the United Nations Association of the Philippines. Judge Reciña was chairperson and president of PRESO, Inc. since 2016.
